Corscale is under construction on its third building at Gainesville Crossing Campus
The multi-building project will encompass more than 2.3 million square feet and 326 MWs of power on its 130-acre campus in Northern Virginia
Gainesville, VA – Corscale, an affiliate of Patrinely and Affinius Capital specializing in hyperscale data center development, has commenced construction of its third building at the Gainesville Crossing Campus. The 54 MW facility has been fully leased to an undisclosed client.
At full buildout, the Gainesville Crossing Campus will encompass 2.3 million square feet over five, two-story buildings and 326 MWs of available power. The campus offers many energy-efficient features including advanced cooling techniques, energy tracking, water conservation, and ultra-low power usage effectiveness.
“Our continued expansion at the Gainesville Crossing Campus underscores Corscale’s commitment to delivering innovative, energy efficient solutions that empower our customers to meet the evolving demands of cloud and AI technologies,” said Corscale President and CEO Robert Fields. “This milestone is a testament to our team’s expertise, strategic vision, and dedication to hyperscale data center development.”
“This project exemplifies how our vertical integration with Corscale and long track record in development allow us to partner with our tenants to create and execute on bespoke strategies that align business objectives,” added Carrington Brown, senior managing director, development for Affinius Capital.
Corscale’s expansion strategy specifically focuses on tier-one and strategic tier-two data center markets in both the U.S. and Western Europe. Development is in progress on additional sites in Northern Virginia, Phoenix, and London, with further locations to be announced later this year.
Corgan Associates is the architect for the project and HITT Contracting is the general contractor.
